What is Direct Care?

Rose Dermatology is a direct care medical practice and is considered “out of network” with all insurance companies. We work directly with our patients and do not bill insurance companies for our services. Dr. Parks provides comprehensive, personalized care without the pressure of fulfilling demands placed by insurance companies and government mandates. This allows for the sole focus to be on the patient- your health, your skin, and your dermatologic needs.

Dr. Parks’ first and only responsibility is to her patients,

as healthcare should be.

The direct care model allows for a stronger doctor-patient relationship, shorter wait times, longer appointment times, transparent pricing, and more accessibility.

Benefits of Direct Care

Direct doctor-patient relationship

There is no 3rd party (insurance company) involvement, so the doctor’s only responsibility is to you.

Time

Dr. Parks respects and values your time. She allows for longer appointment times in order to get to know you and provide optimal care. She does not double-book, which allows her to stay on time and minimize wait times.

Transparent Pricing (no surprise bills!)

Medical appointments are scheduled based on complexity with a transparent price model. Cosmetic and surgical procedures are priced separately. Prices are listed on the website and are due at the time of service. You will never receive a surprise bill from Rose Dermatology.

*Pathology fees, bloodwork, and prescriptions are all separate from the services you receive at Rose Dermatology.

Accessibility

All patients are welcome, regardless of insurance coverage or status. Rose Dermatology is “out of network” with all insurance companies so all patients are treated as “self-pay.”
